Personal Statement
I started playing softball in 4th grade and instantly fell in love with the game. After my practice I knew that my ultimate goal was to play at the collegiate level, even though getting there would take huge amounts of sacrifices, dedications, and work.
I started pitching right away and love being on the mound. I practice 3 times a week almost all year and I have worked with a pitching coach for the last 4 years and plan to continue. I’ve been pitching on our varsity high school team for the past 3 years and pitching for club teams for years. I am a team leader and player who wants everyone on my team to excel to make our team stronger and myself stronger as a player and teammate. I am very coach-able and dedicated to everything that is involved with this sport and strive to be the hardest working athlete you have on your team.
I have always focused hard on my classes and studies knowing that good grades will help me look better as a recruit and player. I have worked very hard to maintain a high GPA and pass all of my classes. I want to attend a college that will allow me to play at the highest level possible while also getting my degree and giving me new opportunities I know I won't find anywhere else.
I strongly value softball and my academics in my life and I am open to all options that will be best for me and allow me to succeed in everything I do, in college and later in life. I hope to become the best player, student, and role model possible and make my family proud.
