I would be a good asset to a college softball team with my athletic and academic abilities, leadership skills and passion for softball. Sports have always made huge impacts on my life. I've been playing both softball and basketball since 4K and have decided to pursue softball. Softball has taught me many lessons like how to be a good teammate and work together, also learning not to dwell on my mistakes yet still be aware and work to fix them. I have taken on many leadership roles in the past years like being the captain for the basketball team and being a starter on both basketball and varsity softball teams. I also participate in our schools orchestra and have been first chair in leading my section. School is very important to me. I've been able to maintain a healthy balance in school and sports while striving in both. I've always been a hard-worker, trying to go above and beyond. This is shown by my GPA, being in the top five percent of my class, volunteering and being a part of the varsity softball team since freshman year (pitching a no hitter this past spring). I also balance my time between my dedication to school and sports while having a job and my ability to handle and schedule multiple tasks at one time . I am looking forward to continuing my softball and educational paths and can't wait to find the right school for me and be a part of a team and community.
