Personal Statement
As a Junior, I had the honor of being selected by my HS coach to be team captain for my High School team. I was very eager but a little nervous about the responsibility of leading a team of 5 Seniors. I embraced the challenge by encouraging my teammates and setting the example on and off the court. This experience has taught me value of leadership, teamwork, service, and work ethic.
My goal is to use these lessons I have learned to fuel the drive and dedication required to become a successful student athlete at the collegiate level. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me and will challenge me athletically and academically.
I plan to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy so I may continue to serve others by helping them have the highest quality of life possible.
