Basketball has been an important part of my life since I started playing at an early age. My love for the game has grown as I have continued to play and become more skilled and knowledgeable at the game. Basketball has become a goal and a dream of mine to play at the next level. I take my education seriously and I am academically strong in my studies; I currently have a 3.9375 weighted and 3.875 unweighted GPA. I am currently taking AP, Honors, and University of Alabama Early College classes simultaneously. I plan on majoring in either Secondary Education - Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. I have completed seventeen (17) hours at the University of Alabama with a 3.866 GPA.
I am a dedicated player, fast learner, and I give my all in preparing for the next task ahead. I’ve been told by several coaches that I am a positive influence on and off the court. I pride myself in being supportive of my teammates and coaching staff. It is essential to insure that we are all on the same page and are working toward the same goals.
I am looking for a college and program that can help me continue to develop as an athlete and as an individual. If given the opportunity, I know that I will work hard as a member of the basketball program. I am not afraid to work hard and I’m very passionate about what I do. I look forward to growing as a player in ability and confidence under the guidance of the coaching staff.
