Lindsey Abramson '11 Recruiting Profile

I'm 6'0" and weigh 160 pounds with excellent speed. I surprise people with my speed and ability to get up and down the court. I have been the starting post on my high school varsity team since my freshman year. As a freshmen I was awarded honorable mention all region. Sophomore year I was first team all region and honorable mention all state. This year as a junior, I was named to the 1st Team Black Canyon Conference, 1st Team All West Valley Region and 2nd Team All State. My high school team made it to the quarter finals of the 4A State Championships. In addition to playing high school basketball, I have played for the Phoenix Phenoms club team for the past four years. One thing a lot of my coaches have said about me is that I am very coachable and I work hard. I would love the chance to play college basketball. I would like to go to a school in the Western United States because even if I'm not in the same state as my family, I am still close to them. I am open to any type of school. When I get to college I want to study education. I would love to become an elementary school teacher. My athletic goals for college would be that I get some playing time as a freshmen and be able to contribute.
