My name is Layla Franklin, I currently attend Dream City Christian High School in Glendale Arizona:
-I’ve been playing Basketball since I was 6 years old
-I started playing AAU at the age of 8
-I’ve won numerous tournaments in California and Arizona
-I’ve been a coach’s assistant developing younger players on their basketball skills
-I play with Southwest Premier 16u champions in Phoenix, AZ. We’ve played in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Oakland, Arizona, Chicago, and California. We ended up winning the tournament last year in Chicago.
What Sets me Apart:
-I can score from all 3 levels. From the post, midrange area, and from outside which involves shooting the 3, getting to the bucket, and drive and kick.
-I also have a 3.5 GPA. I watched countless NCAA Women’s BB games to see where I can fit in on that level of basketball.
I am continuously looking to improve. I’d also appreciate your feedback on my highlight video. I welcome the tips on what I can work on to improve my game and make it to your level of play.
Thank you again for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
