Monique Hernandez '21 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration is to a find a college that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. My educational goal is to get a degree in business, sports and entertainment/marketing and play women's college basketball. In return, I understand the commitment and leadership it takes for a student athlete to be in a team. I feel I grew the most as a student athlete my freshman high school year, because my coaches gave me a great opportunity to advance to Varsity my Sophomore year. I am a good teammate because I always put all my effort to help my team be successful. I stand out in that I have a strong support system including  my faith, family, trainers, coaches and school that keeps me going and focused on being a humble person. I am also a diverse athlete who is able to fit in any team or take over any position, and a seeker of knowledge. The discipline, work ethic, and ability to overcome adversity has made me the best version of myself.  I have all it takes to be in a team!
