Brooke Nowak '26 Recruiting Profile

You will not find someone more determined! I work hard on and off of the court and have high aspirations as a high school basketball player and student who plans to play in college after I graduate. 

I am enrolled in honors and AP courses and maintain a 4.1 GPA while working hard as a basketball player for both my school and club teams. I train on my own daily and with trainers and my teams, in addition to our team practices. I also run track - the 200m, 400m, 4x400m and 4x800m. I qualified for State this year as a freshman in 2 of my events so I am very proud of that.

As a basketball player, I have a very high IQ, can facilitate the team when in the point guard position, and can create my own shots as a shooting guard. I have been told that I am a strong player who is very versatile because of my ball handling skills and my shot. Something I am very proud of is my defense. It is not talked about enough, but I believe in the "defense wins championships" motto and I pride myself on my stellar D. I am usually matched up with the best players on the court and help put my team in a position to win each game with my quick feet and long arms. 

I earned 2nd Team All Region recognition on Varsity this year as a starting "true" Freshman and averaged 8pts/game with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. I recently started my club season with AZ Elite and received MVP recognition for our first tournament of the season.

I am very blessed to be able to play basketball, and I look forward to achieving my goal of playing college basketball at a school with high academic standards. I know I can do it, and I plan to keep working hard until I achieve my goals!
