Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to play basketball for a competitive and established university while majoring in Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy. I play the 2/3 shooting guard combo. I believe I would be a good candidate for a team that needs driven players and I want to improve every aspect of my game to become the best player possible. This is important to me because I've grown up around basketball all my life and I would love to be able to play at the next level, not only for myself, but also for my family. I've grown to love the game more each time as I got better and better throughout the years. They've always taught me to show my full potential and to work hard in everything I do, not only on the court. My mom and dad have took time off from work and put all their time and money into my future as a ball player. My dad has put the most time into me and making sure I got better. He's taught me basically everything I know from when I started in the 4th and he will always continue to do it. After games, he's the first one to tell me what I should've done or how to get better at a certain thing. It's very important to me that I make sure that my parents are proud of me. I'm their only child and they only get one chance to see me accomplish all my goals in life. It would make me very happy to see them proud of me and to see them not regretting all the time or money they've spent on me. I live life basically through my great grandfather that passed of cancer a few years ago, and that opened my eyes to realize that life is so short and precious. It pushes me every day to become a better person in the class room, as a daughter, as a friend, and on the court. It's so important to me to be able to make something of myself and to be able to say that I didn't just get through life, but rather that I had the experience to enjoy everything that life has to offer. Basketball has always been a big part of me and it will live through me for the rest of my life. I also have updated film/info with NSR recruiting service.
