After coming off a good freshmen season in which I was named to the Class 4 All-State team I was diagnosed AML, which is a form of Leukemia. From day one I decided that I am going to beat this, I have one more round of Chemo and then the road to recovery starts. My dream has always been to play college basketball at a high level and cancer is not going to take that from me. I was a 4.0 student when this journey began, that has been hard to maintain between treatments, I am not certain of my current GPA. I come from a strong Christian background, my parents hold me to a high standard on and off the court. My dad is my high school coach so I understand the amount of work that it takes to perform at a high level and understand how to be coached hard.
