Ever since I was little I always had a love for the game even though I never actually got to play with others . My mom would show me how to dribble and shoot , I guess knowing that she played made me want to get better. It wasn't until my 8th grade year that I actually joined my schools team . It was much more different than I thought , but through it all I remembered what my coach would always say " Nobody said it was going to be easy , they said it was going to be worth it ." That whole year I was being taught the basics . During that summer I worked on becoming a better shooter and handling the ball not only did I improve , my love for the game got big and from then on it's been growing .
