Cassie Emerson '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cassie Emerson. I attend Jasper High School. I am a junior, power forward, for the varsity team at Jasper. I show dedication and hard work in the classroom, and on the court. After high school I plan to pursue a degree in Business. Athletically, I am a fundamentally sound player, and understand the game very well. My skill sets come with blocking out and rebounding on both ends of the floor, ability to pass the ball and contribute as a team player. I can play low post, back to the basket, and also pulled out on the perimeter off the dribble on offense. My determination to get better makes me stand out among other players on my team as well as those in the league. Academically I am maintaining a 3.5 GPA, working for a 4.0. I am apart of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and FCCLA (Family Community Career Leaders of America). Being a part of these clubs and organizations, and also basketball give me teamwork and leadership skills, that will help me excel at the collegiate level.
