Since I started basketball 6 years ago, the sport is always teaching me something different. It has taught me to have patience with myself and others, it is teaching me to control my emotions and grow in my leadership skills and it is also teaching me to grow closer with my teammates even if they think of me differently. My goals for basketball is to just be able to get the opportunity to play at the collegiate level no matter the division and grow in all ways possible. What would make me a good candidate for any team is that even though I may not be scoring 20 points a game, I excel at what I know I am best at and want to continue to grow. Receiving honorable mention in my league and being awarded defensive player of the year has boosted my confidence into always pushing myself to be the best player on the court. As I try to evolve as a player I also try to evolve as a human being. My character revolves around my faith in Jesus Christ and anything I do or accomplish is through Him and because of Him.
