My name is Ashley Collins, I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old and continue to love the game and all the life lessons that come with being on a team. I sincerely love the comrade of what comes with being on a team and I continually bring a positive attitude and infectious smile to all those around me.
I consider myself a Student/Athlete and take special pride in my academics. As a Sophomore I am taking all Honors and AP classes in order to challenge myself in the classroom as much as possible. I am very interested in studying Psychology, Law and/or business. I am currently part of a 4 year BAHT (Business of Hospitality and Tourism) Academy at my school and have just been appointed President.
I have always been especially proud of the small community I live in and have enjoyed being a Volun-teen for the City of Chino Hills department of recreation over the past three summers providing assistance & supervision over younger children during the city summer camp program. In addition I have been involved in feeding the homeless on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles for the CHILO Foundation as well as providing fundraising at my high school for the Make A Wish Foundation. My parents have taught me at a very young age to be appreciative for our many blessings and to help share our time, love and commitment with others less fortunate. I am looking forward to attending a University that will help me continue along this life path.
