From the beginning of my school years, college has always been a goal. When asked about what I want to do after high school the first thing I always say is graduate from college with a degree in Liberal Studies then become an elementary school teacher. Basketball has always been a huge part of my life and has helped shape who I am today. Playing basketball has taught me perseverance, leadership, and time management. As a leader of my team, I have come to learn how to make our team better by looking out for each teammate. I constantly assess the mental state as well as being there whenever they need someone to talk to. I think of what's best for the team before myself and what we need to do to get the next win.
