Personal Statement
I am a girl who has been raised to set the bar high and work until I get there. My goals in college include graduating with my bachelor's degree in nursing and play basketball. I want to not only want to reach my goals but also have fun while getting there. I am a team captain now of the JV team, as well as the freshman team, as sophomore and I love helping and communicating with my teammates! Communication is key when playing as a team! I always have a good attitude no matter win or loss, we will shake it off and work to be better next time. As far as academics go I have had to work my butt of to get to where I am today, but in the end academics are really important to me because they will get me places in life as long as I keep working hard everyday. During the covid-19 quarantine, I have found myself depressed due to not being able to play basketball. I have found that it is very important to my mental heath and my physical health to keep playing and keep my mind busy and away from things that are going on at home. I believe that everything happens for a good reason and I just have to learn from my mistakes.
