I am looking forward to college and envision my college experience as an opportunity for personal growth and maturity as a person and an athlete. Academics are very important to me in choosing a school. At this point I would like to be an anesthesiologist or physical therapist, but that could change as I'm exposed to classes in college. I have been actively involved in my high school and was Class President during my junior year. My Christian values are of greatest importance to me. God is first. Always. I am blessed.
As for basketball, I enjoy winning, as a team. Team chemistry and camaraderie make winning fun and playing worthwhile. I will conduct myself honorably and be a positive influence on others on and off the court. I enjoy training hard, and I can and do, play 4 positions (1-4) and can guard those positions (man-to-man defense) full court against nearly any team. Although I am right-handed, I move and pass proficiently with my left. My favorite part of the game is defense, and I averaged three blocks and nearly three steals throughout my Junior year. I am often charged with guarding the other team's best player, regardless of position.
