Sidney Potestio '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sidney Potestio and I am entering my junior year at Brighton High School. I have been playing varsity basketball for 2 years and will eventually be a 4yr varsity basketball letterman. I have played club basketball for 3 years for Colorado Elite. My strengths as a post player are having great court awareness and passing out of the post. My strength while positioning allows me to be a good rebounder and I can knock down mid-range jump shots with a high percentage. I take pride in my ability to defend in help situations, especially with the screen and roll.

Academically, I take many honors and AP classes and I work very hard to excel. I currently maintain a 4.2 GPA while participating in two varsity sports. My ultimate goal is to earn a scholarship to play college basketball and study forensic anthropology in hopes of one day working for the FBI.
