Hey coaches i’m dylan moyer!! Ever since I was young I have dreamed of playing college basketball. Growing up, my first sport was soccer. I was an ECNL goalkeeper and a varisty starter on my highschool soccer team since freshman year. Playing this position taught me the importance of hard work, communication and most importantly leadership. Using these qualities it has heavily transferred into basketball. Early on in my highschool career I developed the role of a “leader” on my team. Through early morning practices, late night games, my characteristics bettered the team and helped get to the playoffs. On an individual basis, my determination followed as my motivation lead me to reading about nutrition, lifts to optimize strength and mobility, and about overall mental health. These readings are what got me interested in neuroscience and psychology. By holding a 4.5 gpa, it gave me the opportunity to take collage classes as a sophomore and I got to learn about the topics I was so interested in. When playing for your program, not only will I bring strength, height, and my basketball abilities, but my leadership, quick decision making and my overall love and passion for the game!!
