My collegiate goals is to become a college grad who is also a successful basketball player. Im a hard working candidate and I push myself to my limits, and I take In what coaches have to teach me. I try new things to make myself a better player. What makes me different is that I’m a short basketball player, a point guard, who has always been made fun of because of my height. From a young age people would tell me I wouldn’t get far in my basketball career because I was short. I want to prove everyone wrong, and show them that height doesn’t matter because it’s about how big you play not how big you are. I’m a shy girl, but very outgoing when I’m used to people. I’m very respectful and caring of others as well. In athletics I have done many sports like soccer, basketball, tennis, track, softball, and next year I’m considering baseball for my next spring sport. In academics I’m not the smartest in my class, but I try my hardest. I sometimes struggle but then ask for help so that I can get a better understanding of what I’m learning. Without school and good grades, I wouldn’t be able to play basketball and since I first played basketball in 3rd grade, I still have an ongoing love for it.
