Lauren Janka '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Lauren Janka. I am about 6ft3", weigh around 150lbs, and dominantly left handed. I have been playing basketball since I was about four years old. I have been given quite of a few all-tournament awards from my travel team. Playing basketball in college is something I really want to achieve and I will put all of my effort into it. I have good sportsmanship and I am a good teammate. I am a good learner and take any criticism. I will be the first to get on the court and the last to leave. I would prefer to be in the central-east area of the United States, but my options are open and I am willing to look at any colleges. I don't have a preference on divison, but I am not intrested in small, rural school. My desired major is Pre-med, and after college my plan is to go into Medical School and become a pediatrician. My goal is to play basketball freshman through senior year of college and put my all into it. I know that before athletics comes school, so I will always make time to study and succeed in my goal of going to medical school and becoming an excellent doctor.
