I aim to be a positive role model willing to work hard and go the extra mile consistently. Both my parents are U.S. Army Retired. Based on my experience as a military child, I understand the sacrifices that were made and the importance of the seven values that fall under LDRSHIP (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage). I strive to be responsible for my actions and do the right thing when no one's looking. I want to develop into a professional leader capable of taking charge, teaching, influencing, and motivating others to accomplish their goals. I am determined to remain focused on achieving the best results in both my short-term and long-term goals. I will not accept being average and always put my best foot forward in everything. I will use resources to help me through both academic and athletic challenges. I will emphasize time management and am willing to sacrifice the extra hours needed to ensure the best possible results.
I'll make a good candidate for the team by working hard alongside my teammates and encouraging them. I will lead by example and maintain a positive mindset. I will give 110% during practice so that we can become better together. I will not be afraid to ask questions and admit when I make a mistake. I will communicate with my team members to help us become more effective on the basketball court. When our team is down, I will do my best to pick them up.
