I have been playing basketball for 7 years, and I have learned so much from it already. Basketball to me is a way of life. It is constantly with me no matter what, even if I win or lose. It gives me a challenge, something to always strive for. It teaches me life lessons and connects me to a group of girls. It makes me feel like we are all in this together. My team is my second family.
Basketball has taught me that I'm a lot stronger than I thought. The mental part of the game controls a lot of how you play. I am always positive, no matter what. My goal throughout my high school years and college years are to maintain good grades and play basketball.
