Alessandra Bonilla '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a University that will foster a high level education as well as a competitive basketball program. I would be an asset to any school because of my work ethic, my winning mentality, the ability to make my team mates better and play both ends of the court. I started playing middle school basketball in the 4th grade, in 6th grade I was a starter on my undefeated JV team and in the 8th grade I was a starter and leading scorer on my Varsity high school team. I am currently playing 17u travel basketball  while still in my 8th grade year. My coach has allowed my to scrimmage against current college players and they are impressed by my skill and ability to play the game. The bigger the challenge the more I enjoy it because it helps me get better. I take my academics very seriously. I currently have a 3.5 GPA. I am taking honors and advanced classes, two of the classes are being taken at the 9th grade level. My short term goal is to bring a state championship to my high school the 4 years I’m in school. I‘m enjoying the journey but I look forward to playing college basketball and beyond.
