I’m been playing basketball for Six Years. I’ve always watched the sport of basketball especially the NBA and optimistically started playing basketball in middle school in the 7th grade and continued ever since then. Joining the basketball team started my desire and love for the sport, Although I wasn’t as skilled as others because it was my first time playing sports period, I always strived to get better everyday and put in my maximum effort to achieve something new everyday. Ever since playing basketball for the 7th grade I’ve never stopped despite the barriers that were put my way, I still and will always breathe basketball because after God & My loved ones, basketball is truly my first love,. Basketball is like an outlet for me , where I find comfort and a piece of mind is when I’m on the court . I’ve encounter my first coach that always seen potential in me in the 7th Grade but after Her, no one honestly took me (a female) serious about playing the sport of ball until I branched off to Highschool and met my 2 Amazing Coaches in the 11th Grade.Although I’ve encountered many barriers I’ve never let that stop me from putting in absolute maximum effort in enhancing my skills, and I’m willing to do what it’ll take to become the player needed to continue in basketball to the college level. I’ll be grateful for any university that gives me a scholarship that fulfills my academic needs for the field of my interest and assist my aspirations of continuing my sports which is my ultimate goal by 2019. I’m willing to do what I need to do in order to be me the player I’m destined to be, I have a drive for basketball and it’ll continue to grow when I advance to college basketball. I also know my responsibilities as a student athlete, and I strive to make great grades and fullfil my academic needs while doing the sport I love. My effort to succeed and never stop even if I reached my goal is what makes me, sportsmanship and courage to take on any obstacles or tasks in my way to get to where I want to be with no excuses molds me in becoming a better player overall. I’ll truthfully be grateful by any recruiters who see’s the potential of me becoming the player I aspire to be and definitely work hard to become.
