My aunt used to play basketball and that's where my love for basketball started. I started getting serious about it in the 8th grade when I started practicing and playing with varsity during the summer. I then knew I wanted to get serious and make this my future. I play basketball not for the looks, or to waste time, but because I'm good at it and I know I can turn this talent and passion I have for the sport into hopefully a future. I'd be a good candidate for any team because my team would be my family. I would have there back and do not what's best for me but for the team. I'm different from others because I play because I love the sport not because I'm good at it but because I love the sport. I love the energy I have when I'm about to jump up to get the jump ball. I love the soreness I feel after doing drills all day. I love the sound of my coach and teammates and fans screaming on my team when there's only a few seconds left or when we score. I love the rush when I steal a ball and dribble down the court for a wide open lay up just having so much faith in myself that I won't miss it. I love every thing about it. Especially the process of getting better with my coaches and teammates by my side. That's what makes me different.
