Personal Statement
After being a four-year varsity basketball player and two-year captain at Marist School in Atlanta, GA, I committed to continuing my basketball career on the collegiate level at Auburn University. Being in the SEC and a part of the Power 5 conference, I went through difficult training, two different coaching staffs, two different styles of play, and was able to handle it all even when adversity hit. Additionally, I balanced my academics and athletics really well by maintaining a 3.6/4.0 GPA and above from my freshman to my sophomore year. I transferred to the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2022 and have been there ever since. I'll be graduating in spring 2024 and will have 1 more year of eligibility. I currently have a 3.67 GPA, I'm extremely involved on campus, especially in athletics, and I'm always on top of my responsibilities never being late to anything or breaking any rules. I'm possibly looking for a new school to transfer to for my last year of eligibility, I will be more certain of that in the next coming weeks as we had a coaching change occur.
I'm 5'10" and my primary way of scoring is shooting the ball, especially from the 3pt line. I have great range and a quick release. I love to work hard while also making sure I will never be an academic liability. Additionally, I have good length and size to help with the defensive side of things. I am looking for a program that utilizes me from the outside, but mostly just believes in me. Furthermore, I want to go to a program that will allow me to play with my last year of eligibility and where I can be awarded an athletic scholarship. I am coachable and have a passion for this game. With a high IQ, I know I can help any team I become a part of.
