Personal Statement
I strongly believe that I am different from other recruits, because people find my personality to be positive all the time. I always seem to light up a room or even brighten someone's day. On a personal level, I never fail to tell someone something nice even if its something small. As an individual, I love to see others smile, because when I'm not smiling or having a good day, it always seem to make ME smile. I was told that my smile makes someone else smile and have better day.
On the court, I am competitive with other players. I play with confidence knowing that every time I shoot it will go in , but one thing I will never do is "hope" my shot will go in. In addition to athletics, defense is my strongest and most greatest part when I'm on the court. I love to bring the heat on defense and I love bringing the heat to my teammates as well. I also love the fact that I am able to execute and play a role on my team. My coach always tell me that I bring a spark on the court, and hearing that from my coach really made me feel like I'm headed in the right direction.
Academics wise, some of the things I learn from basketball, I include them within the classroom. I take my academics serious and I am currently in The IB program. I take college course classes that will give me credits for in the future when I go to college.
