Personal Statement
Basketball is a way to get away from any problems you are having, not totally forgetting them but putting them to the side for the game, and during practice. It is also a motivation to get me to finish all my homework and keep my grades at a high consistent level. The best part of playing basketball would have to be the running and the strategy. A game of basketball isn't as fun when it is a blowout, however when you have a close game you are at the tip of your chair as a member of the audience, and your mind is racing as a player because you are trying some way to impact the team and win. I love that high quality competition, and as a team it's crazy how close you get over a season.
