Anna Miller '19 Recruiting Profile

I've had a passion for basketball since I was in 4th grade. I look forward to every basketball season and enjoy being part of a "team". I feel like I am a leader and am always encouraging my teammates and younger players. I am a very outgoing and social person, and love the opportunities I have to meet new people through basketball. The younger players seem to look up to me and I take that role very seriously. I assist with youth basketball and find the experience to be very enjoyable. I love being around young children (both on and off the court) and know I someday want to work with youth in my career and also coaching. During off seasons of basketball, I participate in school volleyball and travel basketball. I excel in academics and currently have a 4.0/4.0 grade point average. I feel like what sets me apart from other players is my energy and positive attitude. People tell me that they enjoy watching me play because I give 100% the entire time I'm on the floor and they can see that I love the game. I am truly my happiest when I'm on the basketball court.
