Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was in third grade and ever since I have wanted to play College basketball. Watching and playing basketball has always been something that brings joy to me.
I am a strong ball handler and have great leadership qualities. I am a very coachable person and will take in any knowledge you give me. I always try my hardest to stay positive and help my team stay positive. I am hardworking and wont give up on the team.
Academics are a big part of myself. Although I strive to play on the court, I keep my grades to an A and B level. I have always been on the honor roll or high honor roll and will continue throughout my schooling to get good grades. Not only my classmates but also the teachers and principal have looked at me as a leader and not a follower.
My attitude on the court is positive and I am always trying to pick my team up when they fall. I am not the type of player to be selfish. In fact, I led my county in assists all season last year. I also have won the Heart and Hustle Award. This award means that I never give up on my team and I always try to do my best and do what my coach says needs to be done.
