Courtney Sutherland '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Courtney Sutherland. I am part of the class of 2019 at Rantoul Township High School. I play basketball as a point guard or shooting guard. I have played this sport ever since I was little and since I have been getting it seems more fun to play and learn new skills with it. I learned that the more I play the more I love basketball, The more I practice the more I get better and it also helps me concentrate and school work because if I don't do school work I can't play. My academic goals in high school were to walk the stage and receive my high school diploma. My academic goals for college is to get my degree in Excerise and Science to become a Physical Therapist or an Atheltic Trainer. One obstacle that I have gone threw to get where I am now is failure. Sometimes you got to fail your not going to be successful unless you keep on going and never give up on yourself, always tell yourself you can do it. Your not always going tp fail though there are some things that ypur really good at. I have really good listening skills, basketball skills and good learning skills.
