I have been playing basketball since Kindergarten and have been very passionate for the sport since the first time I picked up a basketball. I look forward to every opportunity to learn and improve my basketball skills to help get me to the next levels. I definitely aspire to be a collegiate player at some level. I am a true competitor, teammate and love the game of basketball.
I helped lead my Sophomore team as a captain to the first ever Big Northern Conference Championship at any level in Rock Falls High Schools girls basketball History. I love to not only play the game but learning the game running true defenses and offenses. I am a very hard worker on and off the court. I have received many MVP awards and several All-Tournament awards.
I work very hard on my academics because they truly come first. My true passion is basketball and I picked one of my other sports in high school to be golf which I earned as a Freshman and Sophomore a spot on the Varsity Golf team. I am contining to focus this year on being a 3 sport athlete again. I picked golf to help with my mental strategy for basketball and believe it has helped me be more patient and have better floor vision. I am participating in track to help build my strength conditioning and endurance. I believe both of these sports help with mental focus as well.
