My name is Tabitha Crow. This coming fall I will be a senior at Rushville-Industry High School and graduating in the Spring of 2012. I'm not the tallest person out there, currently I am 5' 1". One of the shortest on the team. I weigh 125 pounds. Point guard is my main position. I love it! Sometimes I am a shooting guard but that's rare. Basketball has been my passion since I was a little girl. I can't imagine life without it. My days are spent at the courts. I'm always practicing trying to improve. I want to be the best I can be. The younger kids coming up to play, I always invite them to play on the side of scheduled practice to help them as much as I can. I'm always trying to encourage them to keep their heads up if they make a mistake. I believe team work, hard work, and leadership is the most important characteristics a player should have. Without team work nothing good will happen, it takes a team. Everyone has their part on the court. Without hard work you will not be as good as you hoped for. And without leadership the younger players and fellow team mates will get down on themselves or they won't have self-confidence. These three things I live by. These three things I promise I'll give a coach. I will always make it a team sport not a one man show. I will always work as hard as I can. I will always try to be the best leader I can be. There is so many schools out there. I would go to any school, any type. When I graduate next spring I do not want to hang up my shoes and say good bye to basketball. I will play any where if I get the chance. My dream major is Psychology. I love helping others in need with any problem. But, if the school that would let me play on their team and their school did not have my major I would switch my major. Finanically we are don't have the money. For this coming season I'm going to try to feed the post more for more assist. I'm going to make my field goal percent (41%) at least 60% by practicing more and be confident in my shot. I'm going to lower the amount of turnovers by making smarter passes and guarding the ball better bt practicing game situations. In the fall of senior yaer I'm going to retake my ACT and raise my score. I'm going to do this by doing keytrain every night and taking ACT prep test online. Also, I'm going to try to get the leadership award and mvp player for basketball by encouraging others and controlling the team by helping them keep their heads up. We don't have the best basketball team. No one on our high school team seems to love the sport besides me. I really hope to advance in basketball after college.
