Personal Statement

    My first collegiate goal is to acquire an excellent education and I don't see any better way for me to get there than by playing basketball. Basketball is my passion and I would love to play as much of it as I can. I have seen how sports build character and I think I could use basketball to be a better student, leader, and one day use the skills for my career. I believe I am an excellent choice and asset for a team because I lead, I work hard by practicing every day and trying my best in every minute of the game, I am always looking for ways to improve so I can be the best that I can be, I am a team player, and I have a will to win that is very strong.

    I'm set apart from other recruits because I am determined to be the hardest worker on and off the court. I am quick with the ball and I can out-smart/ out-work my opponent.  Academically, I do well because I move my hardworking attitude on the court into the classroom, as well as I strive to be the best. I am committed to this and I believe I will accomplish my dreams.
