Being a college athlete has always been one of my goals. I am very hard working and I have played this sport for my whole life. leadership is key for me as I have been a captain in the past. My schedule is very busy as I play soccer and year round basketball, so time management is also something that I have adapted. Academics is something that is so important to me and sports comes after academics. To be able to play in the college level I feel it best to work hard in the classroom to have an opportunity to play. I have learned over the years I have played basketball is that it isn’t about the stats or the win, it is about how well you think you played. Even if you didn’t score 30 points, did you rebound well? Did you make good passes? Points are not always going to tell you how well you played. It is about you.
