Ever since I was 7 years old, I have fallen in love with the game of basketball. It has been my passion and motivation. I found that the harder I work, the more rewarding it was. Now that I am older, I have realized the benefits that basketball can present me, which drives my passion even further. My goals are to play the game I love at a competitive collegiate level. I originally came from Columbus North High School, where women's basketball was a very successful sport. As a freshman, the lady bulldogs had won sectionals, regionals, and semi-state, but fell to North Central by two points in the state championship. I was blessed enough to be able to dress varsity for the state game. Last year as a sophomore, we finished the regular and post-season with a record of 25-1. That season we had handily won sectionals and the first game of regionals, but lost to Bedford, who went on to become the 2013 state champs. Now as an experienced junior, I now live in Batesville, Indiana and I attend Batesville High School. Here in Batesville, I am excited to play a more prominent role on the team and be a leader. As this season progresses, I plan to bring a different mentality and my post season experience to this basketball program.
