Grace Cotter '19 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved the sport of basketball. I love the smell of the hardwood floor in the gym and the popcorn in the concession stand. I love the sound of sneakers on the gym floor. I love the sound of the band during warm-ups. I love the sound of the fans in the stands cheering on their team. But, most of all I love the feeling I get when I hear my name announced and I get to take the floor and get to use my God-given abilities to compete at a high level. It's a blessing to have the ability to play this game well, and I am hopeful that with my work ethic and determination that I will earn the chance to compete in basketball at the collegiate level. I also put that type of work ethic and determination to work in the classroom. In the future, I will (not hope to) become an Orthodontist. I have goals--both on and off the court--and I will work tirelessly to achieve them. And, God willing, I will have the chance to pursue both my athletic and academic dreams when I enter college.
