Kailynn Steele '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am a student-athlete and I love the game of basketball. I have so much love for the game and I want to make it to the next level which is college basketball. I am a starting shooting guard as a sophomore for Thea Bowman Leadership Academy and for Hammond Elite AAU Basketball. With me, academics is very important and it comes before basketball. I MUST have good grades. It's always student first. In college, I plan on studying criminal law as a major. I am a hard worker in the classroom as well on the basketball court. If I continue to work hard, I will reach all of my goals. I look forward to my upcoming season and working hard to get to where I want to be. If I don't make it with athletics, I will definitely still make it with my academics, BUT I plan on making it academically and athletically.
