2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Since starting basketball in 3rd grade,I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I believe my quick dribbling skills, three-point accuracy, and high basketball IQ would be fitting at the collegiate level. Not only have I gained great basketball skill, but I also have a very strong work ethic and sweet personality that allows me get along with everybody. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players.
Off the court, I study hard and love to volunteer with the youth. I spend a lot of my free time in youth group, volunteering at basketball training camps, and babysitting. I'm also working as a cadet physical education teacher this year!
Ultimately, I hope to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all possibilities, as I hope to find a team that feels like family. I want to make 3rd-grade-me proud!
