Kaitlyn Luikart '16 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about Christ, my education, and the game of basketball.  I emphasize all three of these everyday.  I completely understand and embrace hard work and dedication, and see them as my tools to achieving goals and overcoming adversity.  I am not afraid of adversity, and use it to help drive and motivate me.  I am driven to improve my game and enjoy pushing myself to become a better player everyday.  I strive to make myself a better player and teammate through effort and example.  I look forward to continuing my personal development on the floor and in the classroom at the next level.

Being a strong teammate and leader is very important to me.  I try to be a leader in the classroom, on the floor, and in my community.  I focus every practice and game to make myself and my teammates better.  

I believe I am a committed leader, teammate, and player.  I am a strong and confident communicator on and off the floor.  I am a natural leader with the ability to interact and drive a diverse group.  I have the ability to score and to create for my teammates.  I am looking for a situation to based on team success and not individual objectives from a selfish perspective.  I proudly want to represent my team, school, and community.  To achieve these things, I work out to make myself physically stronger, which is helping me in my game mentally.
