Hope Wagner '12 Recruiting Profile

As you have seen earlier, my name is Hope Wagner. I am a 5'9" guard weighing 130 lbs and the most hard working, dedicated, and quickest on my team. Basketball is something I love and it is what I do year round. I have spent eight years playing this competitive sport. I have played AAU basketball for the past three years and achieved the honor of being an All-Star team member. My ultimate goal for as long as I can remember, has always been to play college basketball. Putting in hard work constantly on and off of the court is what is needed to achieve this goal and I have been doing my best on doing that. I have no specific Universities I would like to go to, I am simply keeping my options open and checking out whatever may come my way. In middle school I was the leader on my team and now it has been the same story in high school. I helped my team as a freshman and sophomore as much as I could. Earning a "Player Of The Game Award" in my sophomore season. My junior year I started varsity and was Co-Captain. I know the importance of being a vocal leader on the court and guiding my team in a positive direction. With it being my senior year, I am now the Captain on my team. Making sure my teammates are always on time, ready to play, giving 100% at all times, and showing respect to everyone is what I do everyday. I know what it takes to be a team player and have a positive relationship with each and every one of my teammates. When it comes to colleges I am not looking for anything very specific. Although I am leaning toward wanting to attend a larger school. My desired major is Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. I am incredibly interested in that section of studies. I feel that I can make a positive impact on any team I may be a part of. Having a positive attitude, dedication to the sport, and love for the game is what I have.
