Personal Statement
Hi, I am Emma Wendt and I am hoping to play collegiate ball. Ever since I have started playing basketball, I have lived by the quote, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." I have always wanted to be known as the hardest working player on the court, not necessarily the one who is racking up the stats. Attitude and effort is always something that has been important to me. All of my coaches have drilled that into my brain, and I see it as the number one thing I need to be best at. Being a coachable athlete and a great teammate to everyone is my main priority. Academically, I do have my strengths and weaknesses, I will admit. I am always looking to try and improve on and off the court.
