Jessica Alexander '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jess Alexander!

I'm a hardworking, dedicated athlete who would love the chance to play basketball at the collegiate level.  As a freshman at Penn High School, I was able to be part of the Class 4-A State Runner-up team.  During my sophomore year, I started several games and was 6th man for my team that was ranked #2 in the state and finished 25-2 as Semi-state Runners-up. As a part time starter my junior year, my team won the Sectional Championship for a third straight time. We were also undefeated Northern Indiana Conference champions for a fourth straight season. Our record the past 3 seasons is 67-9 which is tops in Class 4-A and is tied for 4th best among all schools in the state during that time.  Expectations are high as I prepare for my senior year at Penn. And in being a leader, I want to take my team to it's most successful season ever.

My goals are to become a college basketball player, obtain my degree, and stay involved in athletics and working with young people, possibly as a coach or administrator.
