My name is Rylee Davis and I am a 2016 high school graduate. I am currently a college sophomore and former basketball player at IU East in Richmond, IN. I was recently granted a release from my athletic scholarship so I could pursue other opportunities.
My primary position is small forward, but am versatile enough to play the two-guard and in the post if needed.I believe in team first and want to do the things necessary to make the team better every day.
Additionally, my college GPA is 3.54.
I understand I may be required to sit out some or all of an athletic season due to being a transfer.
If interested, I am willing to work out for you as well as provide references from my personal trainer and former high school and travel basketball coaches.
Following are comments from my summer basketball coach and my former high school basketball coach:
"Rylee is just one of those special kids that comes along once in a lifetime of coaching. What sets her apart is her personality, skill set and basketball IQ.
She is a deadly shooter both with accuracy and range that extends well beyond the 3pt arc. In my opinion she is one of the best shooters in the state. She has worked hard this summer on finishing moves and ball handling and when you couple that with her height and length and she is becoming a mismatch nightmare for the opposition.
While Rylee is a highly skilled player what has impressed me the most is her basketball IQ, desire to win and drive to become a better player. I rely on her in practice to lead drills and during games to get the 50/50 balls, grab a rebound or hit a crucial shot.
Rylee is a joy to coach, she has a great personality and I have enjoyed getting to know her off the court as well. She would be an asset to your team both on and off the court." -

"Rylee is a very coachable player and willing to do what is needed to help the team. What was a pleasant surprise when Rylee started to play for me this season was her basketball IQ. This is something that is not so prevalent with young players. She understands the game and plays to her strengths. Rylee has the ability to pass over the top and off the dribble. What makes her so dangerous is her shooting range and accuracy. Defender must go out and defend her 5 feet beyond the arc. This opens up the lane for her drive, post players, and cutters. Although Rylee had never been a post player her interior defense was outstanding for us. I would say she was our most physical player in the post and I had no problem putting her on the opposing teams best post player. She is also a very good rebounder on both ends. Rylee has an extremely bright future in basketball and I am excited to watch her reach new levels.
With all that said in the previous paragraph what makes Rylee special is her personality and character. She is well liked by her teammates and peers in school. She gets along well with others and accepts the differences between her and others. I love having her on the team for many reasons but because she is a great person it makes it extra special." -
