Kalissa Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

I think I would be fit for your program for many reasons. I am an extremely hard working and compassionate athlete on and off the court/field. Everything I do, I do with passion and heart. No one will care as mush as I do about the sport and the people involved. I have the athletic mindset that nothing is ever perfect and there is always room for improvement in everything I do. Not only do I give all my effort in athletics but I do the same with academics. My academics is something that is very important to me. If I am not practicing and getting better I am studying. I always make it a priority to understand to the subject/class to the best of my ability. Outside of the logistics my home situation has never been the best. I have experienced traumatic things that no one should have to go through. But I have never let that set me back. I always try to be better than what life has thrown at me. I have never let it derail me from my drive in anything I do. I always make sure that I give all my effort because I never want to let my family, coaches, and peers down. This shows that I am able to prosper through anything and everything thrown at me along the way. Therefore, I believe that I would be a great asset to your program and what your school as to offer.
