Many players have the desire to play at the collegiate level but don't realize the importance and efforts you must put into the classroom. I was always told by my coaches and my dad, "if you put 110% into basketball, then you put 110% into your school work". It's as simple as that. I currently go to Southridge school in Canada B.C. A university prep school, where we're constantly pushed to work amongst the best of the best and prepare for what university life has in store. To get into this school you must be someone who thrives in the classroom, thinks outside of the box, and is someone who carries a wow factor to them. Frankly, I am lucky to say that this is exactly what I bring to the table. On the court I am a guard who creates success on defense. I play with a rough edge and creating turn over after turn over is my specialty. I am also agile at the rim and can thrive off contact. My quick release on the three point line is my greatest strength. Character-wise I'm a girl that's light-hearted with a serious purpose. I know how to make a team have a good time with my sense of humor, but I also know when to lock down and focus.
