Personal Statement
My name is Monique Taylor. I was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica. I was exposed to basketball at a late age but ever since I started to play, I developed a strong love for the game.I am an aspiring med student who is willing to do whatever it takes to excel in both basketball and academics. My last G.P.A was a 3.8. What I look for in a coach is someone who is understanding and someone who is just as invested as I am in my goals . I love a coach that believes in me. I am a team player. I love unity on and off the court. My teammates should have my back and I theirs. I am okay with being uncomfortable and I also like to win. In order to win I must work hard and I like to work especially for what I want or need. I get self-fulfillment and the victory is even sweeter. I will do whatever it takes to get where I and the coach needs me to be.
