Personal Statement
Since I was a kid, I have always been one of the tallest and most talented girls in my class. That is maybe why I always won running or jumping competitions. And even thought I liked winning, I never really trained in athletism, as I was in love with basketball. Of course, those abilities helped me get where I am now, as speed and agility are essential when playing basketball.
I always knew I did not want to leave basketball behind, in fact, I plan on getting better and better in time. One of the most important and developed sports in the US is basketball, which makes this country the best destination for my education. Here in Spain, basketball is not the most important sport, which is why I know if I want to get to the very best teams and leagues, I will need to leave a lot of things behind and study in the US. But I am up for it, whatever it takes. I have already been working all my life, being ranked numer one in my class and winning several academic and sport prizes.
