Ashley Fountain '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been enjoying and playing basketball since the fourth grade. I am a Senior currently playing for North Scott Highschool varsity basketball team and Iowa Prep. The thing I love about basketball is the team aspect of the game. Each individual has their own special gifts and abilities. When we come together with those abilities and skills, with similar goals we can accomplish anything. I believe this does not only apply to the game but also in life. I would love to be able to compete at a division 2 level and I realize it is going to take a lot of hard work and dedication.

Until then, I will work hard and make the sacrifices necessary to become the best version of myself, athletically and academically. I am currently an honor student with a 3.7 GPA. My career goal is to achieve a dental hygiene degree and to help others feel good about themselves. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to meeting you.
